COURSE OVERVIEW
A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is an undergraduate degree program that prepares students to become occupational therapists. Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession that focuses on helping individuals of all ages to participate in meaningful activities (occupations) that enhance their well-being and quality of life. Occupational therapists work with people who have physical, cognitive, developmental, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to perform everyday tasks and activities.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for professional licensure or registration as occupational therapists. They can work in various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, mental health facilities, community organizations, and private practices.
