COURSE OVERVIEW

A Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on providing students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to work as professional social workers. Social work is a field that is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities overcome challenges, improve their well-being, and achieve a better quality of life.

Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Social Work program, graduates may become eligible for licensure or registration as social workers, depending on the country’s regulatory requirements. Social workers can work in diverse settings, providing services such as counselling, case management, advocacy, community organizing, and support to individuals and groups facing social, emotional, economic, or health-related challenges.

The Bachelor of Social Work degree can also serve as a foundation for further studies and specialization in social work.
