Australian Bachelors degree (or equivalent) – with a GPA score (Weighted or unweighted) of usually 5 or greater on a 7 Scale scoring system. Most medical schools except science degrees (E.g. Bachelor of Biomedical Science) as well as non-science degrees.

GAMSAT (Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test) – 50 score minimum

section 1 – reasoning and humanities and social sciences 25%)

section 2 – Written communications (2 essays, 25%)

section 3 – Reasoning in biology and physical science (carries 50% of exam)

Interview process – All medical schools have an interview process, be it structured or mini
