COURSE OVERVIEW

A Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) is a graduate-level degree program designed to prepare individuals to become occupational therapists. Occupational therapists are healthcare professionals who work with people of all ages and abilities to help them participate in meaningful activities or occupations that are essential for their daily life, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Upon successful completion of a Master of Occupational Therapy program, graduates are eligible to take the national licensure examination to become a registered occupational therapist (OTR). Becoming a licensed OT allows them to practice occupational therapy independently and work in a variety of healthcare settings, schools, and community-based organizations.

The Master’s degree in dentistry is available only to candidates who have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in dentistry .

Students who intend to postpone their admission to the Master of Dentistry can do so for no longer than one year. Students who postpone their admission cannot be promised a position in the Master of Dentistry. Entry may be subject to the availability of dental operators (dental chairs) and a clinical and written review.
